Oh my......buttermilk garlic mashed potatoes, made with love and a perfect potato masher. The love is in the details....

Also, spot on about the phony beauty stuff! I lived in Hollywood for 25 years....twenty five years too long.

All is well now.....BTW, mashed potatoes are beauty food for the soul!

I have a masher like that, I alternate between it and a food mill when making mashed potatoes.

poppy fields’s last blog post..ode to sink

Thank you for the linky love! I watched the Sir Robinson vid and liked it well enough to both add it to my blog and to send it in a family email since 2 of my sisters and sister in law are immersed in education. I thought it was fascinating and thought provoking.

I have also added Suzanne Clothier to my blog roll.

I thought the Dove commercial was also a peek into what real life verses commercialism shows us. I have tried very hard to raise both my son and my two girls to believe they are smart, good looking and accomplished. They need to believe in themselves, they need to know they don't have to depend on how they look to be successful. They need to make their priorities something that isn't as transient or as superficial as how they look.
