Cindy, of course! How could "if you love unconditionally..." get left out. Gross oversight by the original author. But I shall rectify that immediately! Glad you like the gates. I love how airy they leave the room feeling.

Therese, I think that's a great idea to try to fashion something like these on your own. It shouldn't be hard to make something more appealing than baby gates. :)

Those gates are way cool! I got a new bay window put in a couple years ago and have had a folding baby gate up ever since. It's not all that attractive but it's functional. I don't know that I'll buy one of Donna's gates but I may do something similar ;) Thanks for the idea!

And, if I may add one more...."if you can love unconditionally"....you are probably a dog. My dogs and cats teach me the art of Zen everyday. Just be, just breathe, just love....embrace your dogness, revel in your catness....and you might get your belly scratched to boot!

Now, as for the gates!!! How did you know I was searching for just the right gate to keep the dogs out of the dining room? We've damaged more then one doorway with those ugly, albeit functional, baby gates. I threw out the last one yesterday vowing to never again compromise the beauty of my doorways. Time for something different.....big thanks for the link!
