Riley and Kenzie love to play. They play all day long. This is one of the great benefits of having two dogs who get along. They are best buds, built-in playmates, partners in mischief and sleeping snuggle bunnies. They do everything together.
This allows me to get my work done without feeling guilty that I have a bored dog just waiting for me to make its life interesting.
That’s not to say that we don’t get in our walks or spend time training or get in our cuddle time. Because we do. But I also get chunks of time to get things done. It doesn’t get any better.
This photo was taken after Riley and Kenzie had been play-wrestling on this dog bed all morning. Kenzie took off and Riley thought about giving chase. But he only half made it off the bed before deciding he needed a nap right then and there! He was so tired that he actually fell asleep like this.
