Q: How can we come closer to knowing God?
To know God, you must know the Self. Through the Self you realize the permanent connection to God.
But connection is deceiving because there is no separation to connect.
To seek God first is an act of separation. Know the Self, and God is already known.
A sure sign you’re losing your center is tension in the body, tension in the mind.
More effort isn’t the way through. A sense of humor works much better.
If this doesn’t work, that will. It’s all just play — a child with a science experiment.
There are two ways to enter creativity. Panic and humor.
Both short circuit the belief that something can’t be done.
Panic moves too fast to ask permission.
Humor doesn’t need it.
The essence of play is the opposite of competition.
Play is, “Aren’t we having fun together?”
Competition is, “Aren’t I having fun at your expense.
