Kenzie is officially in heat at 7 months. Of course, I was hoping she’d go longer, but so it goes.
Actually, I was hoping that she’d hold off long enough so Riley would be old enough to neuter. Yes, I know, I was dreaming.
But anyway so here we are. Doggie diapers. Anybody want to take bets on how long this will stay on? If you guessed longer than a half hour before she wriggles out of it, you lose.
This brand is what PetSmart had available and I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. 5 stars for absorbency. 1 star for fit and actually staying on.
I’ve ordered Paw Inspired 32ct Disposable Dog Diapers | Female Dog Diapers Ultra Protection from Amazon. A quick search for the best dog diapers gives this a unanimous win.
We’re a week and change into her heat cycle with probably at least 2 weeks to go. So I’ll let you know if I agree after I try them. Stay tuned.
