What Are the Main Points To Finding Your Inner Teacher?

What are the main points that need to be made in finding your inner teacher? 

  1. Being connected to the source is a birthright that has been taken from us by cultural conditioning. 
  2. Remembering is easy. Decide to remember.  
  3. Pay attention as though your life depends on it. By paying attention, you will begin noticing much more and you will remember, “Oh, this is this connection. I feel as though I am communicating with what I am paying attention to.” There is a flow back and forth of beingness between what you are paying attention to and yourself. 
  4. See everything as though it is the first time you are looking at it. Make it a mission to get rid of preconceived ideas, judgment, sacred cows, old thoughts that have become cobwebs that prevent clarity. 
  5. In paying attention and beginning the flow of connection and getting clarity, you will begin to see the signs and symbols that start revealing the fabric of consciousness and your connection to it. 
  6. Make meditation an integral part of every day. It does not matter what the form of meditation is. Preferably twice a day for 20 minutes each. And should be extended as capabilities increase until several hours a day can be spent in meditation. Paying attention allows the flow horizontally from me to the object I am paying attention to. Meditation allows the flow vertically from me to the source, where all-knowing can begin to flow. That is part of the beingness.

You said number two was to decide to remember. But if we have no memory of this, how can we remember something that we have no recollection of? 

Everyone remembers by being told that it’s as simple as remembering. And explaining what the remembering is will cause people to remember. It will become a spontaneous awareness. 

How do you explain what that remembering is? 

Connection to the source. Union with this source. 

What are the benefits for someone making this journey in trying to fully remember and get connected? 

Peace. Mental, emotional, physical, spiritual health. A greater understanding of all that is. A greater knowledge that transcends wisdom where the All-That-Is is accepted fully, without struggle, as what is. 

People spend so much time believing they can change what is. Thinking that matters. Causing emotional discomfort and mental anguish. To what end? It changes nothing. It takes you away from the splendor of what is, in the moment. When the fixation becomes the moment, pain ceases. Wonder begins. It is the pathway to awakening. Nothing else matters. 

But, depending on the stage an individual is at, in the process of remembering, they will not find this comforting. They will still feel more attached to life as they understand it and it will pull them back into the undertow. This is why so many people can understand intellectually, but because they are not willing to choose the moment, they cannot stay. 

When we sit down to meditate and the mind begins to race and insist that we hear all the thoughts that are in our mind, why does that happen? Why is that so hard to get the mind to stop? 

It is a deeply ingrained habit that begins as soon as language is understood. We forget how to be in the moment. In the now. 

We replay the past to edit it to our liking. And we project into the future to try to anticipate. Most people do not understand the value of the Now. They are almost entirely past or future-oriented. 

This is where meditation makes a difference. But unless you are willing to do meditation, no real change can happen. 

This is not an intellectual exercise. This is not a toy to play with. This is a powerful tool that can change everything. But it must be used correctly and consistently to have the intended effect. 

It requires the willingness to master it. Because only through mastery does the Now fully reveal itself. And then it becomes effortless. 

When you repeatedly allow too many distractions, they repeatedly encourage you to have anxiety about what may or may not happen, what you may or may not get, what you may or may not be missing out on. And so you are continually pulled off-center. 

And when you are having a moment of being centered, it does not feel right because humans are used to being Leaning Towers of Pizzas. Their inner ears almost can’t correct for true up-right standing. 

Is the primary work meditation? 

Yes.

So what this really is, is a commitment to meditate every day and to get more and more accomplished at it. 

Yes. 

When you meditate long enough, often enough, even though it won’t appear so externally, you will spend most of your waking day in meditation. 

This is what is required. It is not hard to do. It does not prevent one from living one’s life or experiencing rich and diverse experiences. It just is a brain wave frequency that is tuned to a greater consciousness. 

This is how you will come to be able to pull information seemingly out of the air. Or to know things you have no way of knowing.  

Because when you live primarily in a meditative state, you’ll start experiencing the vertical exchange between yourself and the All-That-Is. There is a continuous flow. So that even if you are not always paying attention to it, it is still always present. 

How important is it that people understand the concept of the All-That-Is? 

It is not important. It is a distraction. It is the carrot that gives people the desire to make the connection. 

Isn’t it a natural desire–to be connected to all the knowledge that’s available to the God-consciousness or whatever it’s called? 

Yes, it is natural to want because that is the inkling of remembering. “I want that again. I feel excited about that. I don’t even know what the experience will be like. I have only heard others speak of their experiences. And yet I am so excited by the thought of it. Because I remember. But I don’t remember what I remember. But I remember.” And so the pull upward takes place. 

In the beginning, it is ephemeral and easy to lose in all the worldly distractions. But it is not about worrying how far or fast you go. It’s just about getting going.
