Gardening season officially starts here on Mother’s Day. That’s typically when all chance of frost has passed. But, maybe courtesy of global warming, there is no frost in the 10-day forecast. In fact, I probably could have planted a week ago and still been alright. May be the first year that I actually get in two full crop rotations… Gotta take the good with the bad.
Oh, I know! Michael planted beans on 4/9 and corn on 4/19. We just had some French Breakfast radishes this morning. This is in Missouri. We have been struggling to get enough rain but last week temporarily solved that and things are growing like crazy.
Terry, it’s nuts, isn’t it?! Glad you got the needed rain. Thankfully, the northeast has been mostly free of drought problems. Fingers crossed…
