Don’t Get a Call Blocking App – Do This for Free Instead – It Works Better

get text messages in do not disturb instructions

Can you tell that I’m obsessed with foiling the sh*theads who have nothing better to do than harass people around the world with their nonstop scams?

Can you also tell that after investigating Call Blocking apps like Hiya (the absolute WORST for privacy violation) et al, that I would rather throw my phone away than use apps that are worse perpetrators than scammers for abusing your personal information and selling it over and over and over again to–forget highest–how ’bout any bidder?

This solution is absolutely FREE and absolutely PROTECTS YOUR PRIVACY.

I wrote about step one–using your phone’s Do Not Disturb tool here. That takes care of your phone ringing nonstop at all hours of the day and night.

But just doing that prevents you from being notified of texts.

After a little digging, there is a solution for that too. You can receive texts and messages from specific contacts while in Do Not Disturb mode.

Now I get the calls and texts from people I want.

Problem solved.

  1. Luckily for me, I have a prepaid SIM card so even if I answer those call I don’t get billed. I answered once or twice some time ago and they were like “Hello? Hello?” like you previously wrote in another post. I didn’t know it was a scam until I heard about it from other people and as I said, luckily I have a prepaid SIM card.

    1. There was just something on the news about this last night. Apparently, nothing gets done until government lawmakers are also harassed by these lovely people. Now they are working to pass a law to attach stiff penalties to scammers and illegal robocallers. At least the problem is getting attention now but not gonna hold my breath.

About time, this has been going on for a few years now.
